ORGANISATION

As the official destination management organisation of the Gstaad region, Gstaad Saanenland Tourismus is committed to the regional development of offers, is responsible for destination marketing and, in addition to the 8 tourist offices in the municipalities of Gsteig, Lauenen, Saanen and Zweisimmen, also operates various tourist infrastructure facilities. In addition to supporting the service providers through active exchange and transfer of expertise, Gstaad Saanenland Tourismus networks the various players along the tourism service chain.

As early as the 18th century, travellers described the charm of the region. In 1906, the first tourism associations in the region were founded in Gstaad and Saanen. Today, Gstaad Saanenland Tourismus is a tourism organisation that unites the 9 former tourist associations of the region.
