Media travel: The effort pays off

The media interest in the region was once again great last summer: Gstaad Saanenland Tourism co-organized and carried out a total of 26 media trips.

In doing so, GST was in close contact with service providers, for example farmers, the cheese grotto or the hotels. "Without this good interaction, none of this would be possible," says media supervisor Mike von Grünigen. Media trips are always associated with a large time commitment. "But it is worth the effort, because the enthusiasm of the journalists is palpable and the reports afterwards are impressive. We show a piece of our homeland and get great enthusiasm back." At its best, it attracts potential visitors. They are enchanted by the pictures of the destination of Gstaad and want to see the region with their own eyes.
