Alpine Summer Special Day

Of course, we are not yet tanned and barefoot around the hut either - but we are wet and sweaty in the cheese dairy and cosy in the barn. At least we don't have to worry about the water level in the reservoir and can really "chosle" everywhere.
In May, we welcomed a lot of guests and were very busy with the start of the alpine summer. Now everything is running smoothly, all the animals are here, our loyal employees are back at work with motivation and the children have also got used to everyday life on the alp. What we always enjoy and what always leads to good conversations are guided tours of the alpine farm. It is quite amazing how often we are asked whether we milk by hand... That's why we've come up with something new this summer.
On Saturday, 22 June, we are offering public tours at 10.00 and 14.00 and will take the time to present alpine life in general, our strategy and cheese production with all its cycles and to answer questions. The small fee of CHF 5.00 per adult also includes cheese tasting at various stages. In the afternoon we tell the little ones the story of Flöckli and visit all the animals in the booklet. Special offer for lunch: cheesecake with garden salad.
Of course you can also visit us on all other days. For example, how about a hike from Mittelberg/Abländschen (accessible by bus from Saanen/Jaun) via Hundsrügg to us? Of course, the scooter ride to Zweisimmen railway station at the end is a small reward for tired hiking feet.
Otherwise, our popular Mutschli will be available to buy again from the end of the month. Even we ourselves are looking forward to it!
