Bastien Murith tells about his life BEFORE and AFTER his swimming accident. He was one of the most promising skicross talents in Switzerland and had just successfully completed his Matura when he took a dip in Lac de Géronde – since then, everything has changed. Bastien broke the lowest cervical vertebra and is paralyzed from the chest down. He shares how he lives today and the challenges he faces as a tourist.
After this presentation, participants can gain firsthand experience of living with a mobility limitation or a visual impairment during the practical part. They will discover Gstaad and its infrastructure from a different perspective. Our aim is to create understanding for interacting with people with disabilities.
