From 15:00 Food and drinks on the Sanonaplatz with background music.

18:30 Welcome by the mayor Toni von Grünigen. Address by the flag godfather, District Governor Michael Teuscher and ceremonial consecration of the new municipal flag. Aperitif offered by the municipality of Saanen.

19:00 - 23:00 Musical entertainment by the ‘Ländlerfreunde Walopsee’ on the Sanonaplatz.

19:45 Parade of the brass band ‘Harmonie’ Saanen from Oberdorf to the festival site on the Pfrundacher.

20:00 Bell ringing from the Mauritius Church in Saanen. Welcome and musical entertainment with: - the yodelling duet ‘Stärneblueme’ - the brass band ‘Harmonie’ Saanen Ceremonial address by Christoph Aerni from Saanen. Bernese March and Swiss National Anthem with the Brass Band Band ‘Harmonie’ Saanen

Lantern procession from the festival site through the village to Sanonaplatz, led by the Brass Band ‘Harmonie’ Saanen. No 1st August bonfire will be lit this year.

‘Verre d'amitié’ offered by the Saanen village organisation. Before and after the celebration, the Saanen innkeepers are looking forward to your visit.

In case of bad or doubtful weather, the festivities will take place from 18:30 in the Landhaussaal, Hotel Landhaus (without lantern procession).
