Fishing (state waters) Saane
Fishing is permitted on the Saane from 16 March to 30 September. Fishing is not permitted during the closed season for brown trout, 1 October to 15 March.

A patent is required for fishing in state waters. Annual, monthly, weekly and daily patents are available at the tourist offices in Gstaad, Saanen and Schönried.
In general, all fishermen are responsible for ensuring that they comply with the fishing regulations of the Canton of Berne.
