This route is part of the national route no. 9 from Montreux to Rorschach. From Saanen, the path follows the Saane river to Gstaad.
The road continues via Gruben through the villages Schönried, Saanenmöser, and then on the right side of the valley via Oeschseite with a beautiful view into the Obersimmental until Zweisimmen.

  • Approach

    The holiday region Gstaad is located in the southwest of Switzerland directly on the border to the French-speaking part of the country. The region is easily accessible by train or car from the Thun Lake region, Geneva area, and the Gruyère region. Direct connections to the European high-speed rail network and to all international airports in Switzerland guarantee a time-saving and pleasant arrival.
