Looking for a breathtaking hike? This one is worth the trip. The trail crosses the famous Pierreuse nature reserve, one of the largest in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. The area is rich in alpine plants and animals. Between open meadows, limestone formations, and mountain forests, the scenery is wild and impressive. From the start, the view opens to the Gummfluh, a distinctive peak in the Pays-d’Enhaut that catches the eye throughout the hike. Halfway along, the trail flattens and offers views of the typical villages of the Pays-d’Enhaut nestled in the valleys, with the majestic Vanil Mountain range in the background. Chamois, marmots, and golden eagles live in this natural sanctuary. The peace and raw beauty of the landscape make this hike both unforgettable and relaxing. Perfect for lovers of wide-open spaces and pristine nature.
