47th International Hot Air Balloon Week

For the 47th time, Château-d’Oex is hosting the international hot air balloon festival.

During the International Balloon Festival in Château-d'Œx, the sky over the Pays-d’Enhaut will once again be colorful. For nine days, hot air balloons from all over the world gather and create a stunning sight above the wintry mountain landscape. Balloon rides, sports competitions, and the popular children's day are part of the diverse program.

From January 23 to 31, 2027, Château-d’Œx will revolve around the fascinating world of hot air balloons. A traditional winter event for young and old.

Admission:
From Monday to Friday, admission is free.
On Saturday and Sunday, admission costs CHF 15.– per person from 16 years old.

For the entire duration of the festival, a Festival Pin is also available, allowing you to enjoy CHF 25.- free access to the festival for the 9 days.

Tickets can be purchased on-site during the event. The prices listed are subject to change.

Getting There:
Traveling by public transport is recommended. Château-d’Œx can be reached by the MOB from Zweisimmen, with the route being served daily by one train per hour.
