Concerts of the Cantate Choir Zweisimmen

This year, our program features the “Missa in Tempore Belli,” also known as the “Paukenmesse.” This impressive work was composed by Joseph Haydn for soloists, choir, and orchestra, and is considered one of his greatest achievements.

Also by Haydn, as a special treat, the “Concerto in C Major” for cello and orchestra will be performed, and by W. A. Mozart, the “Te Deum in C Major,” a beautiful festive work for choir and orchestra.

We are extremely pleased to bring these wonderful works to performance in December under the direction of our conductor Klaus Burkhalter and are already rehearsing intensely and with great joy.
