Familienkonzert | Peter und der Wolf
30.08.2026 , Sunday
Peter and the Wolf is and remains simply timeless. Composed in 1936, Sergei Prokofiev's symphonic fairy tale speaks to children's hearts all over the world today – and captivates all generations as well, for it is never too late to learn something new (such as discovering the great family of musical instruments) … and of course to have a lot of fun while doing so! We can expect a musical Sunday delight of the highest class in the Festival Tent Gstaad. None other than the director himself will narrate the story, accompanied by the musicians of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Vasily Petrenko – the crowning finale of their musical weekend in the Alps.
