Lauenensee Discovery Tour

Do you enjoy being in nature and learning something about it at the same time? Then the tour with our guidance in the nature reserve around Lake Lauenensee is just right for you. Various stations around the lake will give you insights into the wildlife (birds, fish, and amphibians) and the moorland. We will explain to you why the protection of the lake is so important for everyone. Look forward to an exciting tour outdoors in nature.

Registration by Monday at 4:00 p.m.
Equipment
Please wear weather appropriate clothing and proper footwear and bring your own drinks and any food you may need.
Hint / Advice
The tour is guided in germand, the guide may translate informaions in english.
Level of difficulty
The walking time is 1 hour (2.5 km). This distance must be manageable for all participants otherwise parents should use an aid (e.g. all-terrain pushchair, child carrier backpack, etc.).

Arrival Information
Individual arrival at Lauenensee parking lot, by postal bus desirable. Walk from the parking lot to the meeting point at the intersection below the restaurant takes about 10 minutes.
Departure of the postal bus from Gstaad train station: 1:37 p.m., arrival at Lauenensee parking lot at 2:11 p.m.
Return at 4:40 p.m. with arrival at 5:15 p.m., or 5:40 p.m. with arrival at 6:15 p.m.
