Raphael Nussbaumer
15.08.2026 , Saturday
We fondly remember his exuberant Tchaikovsky concert with the Menuhin Festival Amateur Orchestra in the summer of 2023. Now, the young Swiss violinist Raphael Nussbaumer returns to the chapel in Gstaad with a beautiful program fully influenced by Czech music. Raphael Nussbaumer will perform works by Dvořák (including the Sonatina, particularly popular among young violinists), as well as those by his son-in-law Josef Suk and Bohuslav Martinů, who was once supported by the Basel patron Paul Sacher and eventually passed away in Liestal in 1959.
