Together Through Saanen – Open-Air Roundtable

06.06.2026 , Saturday

For twelve years now, the village zone of Saanen has been car-free. This measure has sustainably and positively shaped village life: it has created new meeting spaces, enhanced the quality of stay, and strengthened the attractiveness of the village for both locals and guests. We would like to celebrate this "dozen" with a public, connecting, and identity-forming event.

When: Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM

The Idea: "Zäme dür Saane" – Open Air Round Table to celebrate 12 years of a car-free Saanen village: The village street will become a long festive table with around 100 tables for meetings and community. Local businesses from trade and gastronomy will showcase their actions, food offerings, and creative tables along the street. "Zäme dür Saane" brings the Saanen village life to life together.

To further enliven the village street, musical performances are planned. Mobile bands will move along the street and play at changing locations. Additionally, there will be fixed points, including a fashion show at Sanonaplatz, which will round off the event.

There will be no Saanen Summer Festival this year. With the event "Zäme dür Saane," we aim to provide an alternative for guests, locals, and businesses.
