New Fondue Caquelon at Lauenensee

The new fondue caquelon is manufactured by Burri Zimmerei und Chaletbau. They made their first caquelon 10 years ago. At the moment there are 4 caquelons in the Saanenland. The production time is about 4 weeks.

1. The 3D-Model is created and optimized based on experience.

2. The plans and templates are created and printed.

3. The wood is cut and planed and treated accordingly.

4. The floor and the bench supports are mounted on the scaffold.

5. The boards for around the caquelon are cut to size.

6. A threaded rod is attached in the middle for the table.

7. The handle for the caquelon can be assembled at the same time.

8. The corners are rounded off to give the caquelon a good rounding.

9. Mount the support around the caquelon and fix it with glue and screws.

10. The removable lid of the caquelon has been attached.

11. Various metal brackets are attached so that everything stays together.
