The ski route to Rellerli is straightforward. It starts with the journey: those arriving by public transport get off at Schönried by train or at the Schönried, Schulhaus stop by Post bus. For those traveling by car, there is a large parking lot at the former Rellerli valley station.

With skins mounted, off you go! The route first passes typical wooden chalets and farms through the inhabited area toward Bergmatte. From here, the terrain becomes forested. With the cozy scent of fir needles in your nose, continue to Grossi Vorschess. Those wishing to take a break here will find a cozy seating area with a wonderful view inside the oversized wooden caquelon.

After a few hairpin turns, a long left curve leads toward the former Hugeli lift. Now it’s not far – just a short, steep section and the former mountain station Rellerli is reached. The effort is worth it, as Rellerli rewards its "climbers" with a unique 360-degree view of the surrounding region and the high Alpine peaks.

There are various options for the descent: experienced skiers who like steeper terrain can ski straight down the front via the former black slope to the old valley station. For those preferring a more leisurely descent, the return route follows the ascent track via Grossi Vorschess. Inexperienced powder skiers should follow the signposted touring tracks and ski back down the groomed slope to the valley.

Whether for experienced ski tourers or complete beginners, Rellerli is always a highlight!
