The route starts at the base station of the Wasserngrat cable car and zigzags up to the top station. At the Wasserngrat mountain restaurant, you have the opportunity to stop by and enjoy the fantastic view of the mountain world. The way back to the start is via the same path or by the chairlift.

Notes: Observe the operating times of the Wasserngrat chairlift. Extension of the route possible: e.g., Turnelsattel-Alp Turnels-Wasserngrat base station or Turnelssattel-Louwenehore-Giferspitz-Berzgumm-Wasserngrat base station.

  • Approach

    The holiday region Gstaad is located in the southwest of Switzerland, directly on the border to the French-speaking part of the country. The region is easily accessible by train or car from the Lake Thun region, the Lake Geneva area, and the Gruyère region. Direct connections to the European high-speed train network and to all international airports in Switzerland guarantee a time-saving and comfortable arrival. The main means of transport in the Gstaad region are the "MOB" train (Montreux-Oberland Bernois) and numerous post bus lines.
