The starting point for this walk is the Wispile valley station. From there, the path leads steadily uphill, offering beautiful views of the surrounding mountains along the way. Most of the route runs below the gondola lift. Just over halfway through the walk, you’ll pass the middle station and continue along the path towards Bodme. A final climb finally takes you to the Wispile mountain station, where you’ll be rewarded with an impressive view of the peaks and valleys of the Saanenland.

  • Approach

    The holiday region Gstaad is located in the southwest of Switzerland, directly on the border with the French-speaking part of the country. The region is easily accessible by train or car from the Thun Lake region, the Lake Geneva area, and Greyerzerland. Direct connections to the European high-speed train network and to all international airports in Switzerland guarantee a time-saving and pleasant arrival. The main means of transport in the region are the "MOB" (Montreux-Oberland Bernois) train and numerous postal bus lines.
