Escape the hustle and bustle of every day life and relax in our simple, rustic mountain hut “unteres Beust”, which reminds of good old times. It offers a fantastic view over the Saanenland and is an ideal starting point for great mountain hikes. The restaurant “Waldmatte” is located only 30 minutes from the hut.

The alpine hut „oberes Beust“, where the cheese is produced in summer, is reachable by foot within 15 min. A visit is possible in the morning for the production of the cheese and for the tasting of some the local procducts. Personal assistance on the farm is possible on request.

On the Alp Beust of family Willi Bach, 1585 metres height, above Chalberhöni in Saanen, the guests spend the night in a simple room and on simple beds. Well rested thanks to the mountains fresh air, the farmer’s breakfast is even better. The mountain pasture is opened from the beginning of June to the beginning of September.

    Arrival: 4 pm / Departure: 10 am Please contact 3 days before your arrival the following person to get the key: Mr Lukas Bach, phone +41 79 786 03 15 or Willi Bach, phone +41 79 330 86 28. The time for handing out the key should be arranged in advance. The place can be reached by car. There are parking spaces next to the mountain hut. The mountain hut is located about 1.5 - 2 hours walk from the next train station (Chalberhöni-Saanen). Directions: - Drive from Saanen in direction of Chalberhöni. - At the end of the valley you will find two cable car stations as well as a the restaurant Waldmatte on the right hand side (you can see the mountain hut, located above the restaurant Waldmatte in the forest aisle from the big parking lot). - Continue to drive along the tarmac road, pass the cable car stations. - When the tarmac road makes a 180 degrees turn to the left, follow the gravel path straight. - At the crossing, after about 200 meters, turn right over a bridge and follow the path which leads up to the right side. - When you exit the forest, you reach the mountain hut.
