Ausstellung CHRISTELER

From July to October 2026, an exhibition of the Lenker artist Jakob CHRISTELER-MATTI, who was born in 1872 and died in 1950, will take place at the Hotel Kreuz. Between 20 to 30 paintings will be presented as loans. The self-taught artist largely painted the village of Lenk with the Wildstrubel in various versions, often featuring altered hill ranges or repositioned buildings. However, some rarities can also be viewed, such as the church Ried St. Stephan, the Iffigensee, and the Wildstrubel from a completely different perspective, among other things.
