Beer hike Lenk-Obersimmental

Beer enthusiasts, beer lovers, and beer enjoyment folks, take note: there is a beer hike again this year!

Those who enjoy drinking beer and want to take a little hike outdoors with friends will be happy with us at the beer hike. At the start, you will receive a beer mug that allows you to taste at each stand along the way.

The 6.5 km long route on the flat valley floor leads to the Ey, crosses the Iffigbach and the Simme, and returns towards the village.

The following breweries are located along the route: as Jùscht's, Appenzeller Bier, Simmentaler Bier, Egger Bier, Aare Bier, and Burgdorfer Bier, which will serve you delicious beer. There will also be tasty grilled food, Chäsbrätel, pretzels, etc.

Musical entertainment for the beer hike will be provided by the "Bärner Ländlers" at the location of the shooting house.

The beer hiking day continues in the evening with a fest in the barn of the David von Känel family. Musically, we will be entertained by the "Bärner Ländlers" and from 9 p.m. DJ Börren and DJ Mendossa. There will also be food, drinks, and of course beer available here. The evening fest is open to everyone and does not require registration.

How does it work?
You purchase your ticket in advance at the ticket shop. Choose your start time between 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. and the number of tickets. There are 20 starting spots available every five minutes. If you are arriving with a group of over 20 people, simply select the previous or next time as well so that you can all start together. Check in at the start and we will let you all start together.

The ticket must be presented either printed out or on your smartphone at the start.

At the start, you will receive a beer pass and a mug. The beer pass allows you to taste 3dl of beer at each stand. Additional beer must be purchased. Food is not included in the ticket.
