Piguet in Gstaad: The Art of Expertise
The auction house Piguet is making a stop at the Salle Baccarat of the Gstaad Palace for a day full of estimates and expert lectures, open to the public.
For one afternoon, the Salle Baccarat opens up for a rare rendezvous: immersing oneself in the world of the great experts at Piguet - a world of discretion, trained eyes, and the stories each object carries.
Jewelry pieces passed down from generation to generation, luxury bags from the greatest houses, valuable objects that became treasures: behind every heirloom lies a story, an investment, sometimes a question, often an inheritance to be passed down, or an estate arrangement that must be prepared.
This is precisely the dialogue between owner and specialist that Piguet aims to facilitate one afternoon in Gstaad - between estimation and expert advice.
Bernard and Calire Piguet, auctioneers, as well as Christina Robinson, auctioneer responsible for luxury bags, Objects of Vertu, and Fabergé, have been sharing their passion for many years in the holiday region of Gstaad. For this occasion, they will be joined by Nathalie Piguet - for an afternoon full of exchange, where anecdotes from the auction life and appraisals by appointment alternate in a confidential setting.
An inspiring day dedicated to expertise, discovery, and the art of collecting.
