Alongside the dizzying Chaconne from Bach's Partita No. 2 in D minor (for solo violin), which Brahms transformed into a stunning version for left-hand piano, and Schumann's colorful Carnaval, the 23-year-old New York pianist Maxim Lando presents three dances that he specifically commissioned from the American composer Lowell Liebermann – works that are almost as terrifying as the Frankenstein figure they bring to life musically!
