Menuhin Festival | The Swingin’ Hermlins
06.08.2026 , Thursday
Under the theme “Family Matters,” Eggli becomes a stage for exceptional concert experiences as part of the Menuhin Festival Gstaad.
If you experienced the Hermlins as a quartet in 2024, get ready for an even more dazzling experience this year with their quintet lineup – once again high up at the Eggli summit, the perfect stage for a celebration bursting with rhythm and colour. Vocals, drums, piano, guitar, and clarinet: a combination that may seem unusual at first glance – and that’s exactly what makes it so captivating. At the heart of this exceptional ensemble is Rachel Hermlin. With impeccable swing, commanding stage presence, and a voice that brings this sound vividly to life, she leads the evening with effortless elegance and infectious joy, giving the performance its unmistakable sparkle. And here’s a remarkable note: the Hermlin family likely holds the record for the most concerts live-streamed straight from their living room during the pandemic – over 500 performances that kept the spirit of live music alive.
