... and that is exactly why our guests come to us: because they simply do not have to do anything here - nothing but eat well, sleep well, feel good and let their souls dangle in the wonderful, untouched mountain world... Far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, the stress and the normal madness of modern times! We welcome our guests to our time-honoured, newly and charmingly renovated mountain hotel.

    Abländschen can be reached from the Simmental via the Jaun Pass or from the Gruyère region via the neighbouring village of Jaun in Fribourg. There is a direct connection from or to Saanen via the 1647-metre-high Mitterbergpass through the Grisbach Valley. This mountain road is only open during the summer months.

    Publich transport: The village of Jaun can be reached by train and bus. From Jaun take the Alpen Taxi "Taxi Charmey FR" to Abländschen.

    Motorised private transport: Abländschen can be reached by car over the Jaun Pass either via Broc (Bulle) or Reidenbach. The Jaunpass is open all year round.

    Parking at the mountain hotel, limited possible: hotel guests free of charge.
