Restaurant Esprit Bernerhof, Hotel Bernerhof

Truly sensational: Starting June 2020, the Bernerhof introduces a little brasserie called “Esprit Ravet”! The Ravet family of Vufflens-le-Château is probably the best-known gourmet family of Switzerland.

For more than 20 years awarded with 19 Gault Millau points, they confer the spirit of the family upon the Bernerhof. Guy Ravet, son of Bernard and Ruth Ravet reports: „I am excited about cooking brasserie cuisine. The recipes and the wines of the family are what I want to bring to Gstaad. The entire family is looking forward to opening the “Esprit Ravet” in Gstaad.

Hotelier Brigitte Frei is proud that the Bernerhof could win over the Ravet family for this partnership: “We are thrilled by the passion of the family. They are always looking for new, even better products. Moreover, our guests will be served straightforward dishes prepared wholesome and with the best ingredients. Recipes formulated by Guy Ravet for the Gault Millau channel can be found on our menu.” Thomas Frei adds, “Not to be forgotten are the fantastic Ravet wines of the Morges region, considering that the daughter Nathalie is known as one of the best sommeliers of Switzerland.”
