The scenic snowshoe tour starts at the Wasserngrat car park on the Scheidbachstrasse in the direction of Turbach. At the second junction, the tour turns right up the Berzgummstrasse, past the Berzgumm Alp and over the ridge to the Gifferhüttli. The tour then follows the same route back to the Wasserngrat car park.

  • Parking of Wasserngrat

    No parking spaces are available at Berzgummstrasse. Please observe the driving ban.

  • Parkplatz Wasserngrat – Gräbi – Bachegg – Alp Berzgumm – Giferhüttli – Alp Berzgumm – Bachegg – Gräbi – Parkplatz Wasserngrat

    • Everyone is responsible for route selection and assessment of their own experience, ability and alpine dangers on tours in ascent and descent in the alpine region.
    • Plan every snowshoe tour carefully and adapt to participants’ fitness level as well as the weather and season.
    • Weather conditions can change quickly in the mountains. Appropriate clothing is therefore essential, along with adequate supplies of food and water. In uncertain weather, turn back in good time.
    • Inform others of planned route, and whenever possible avoid going alone.
    • It is forbidden to walk on the designated ski slopes.
    • Please be considerate to other walkers and to plants and animals.
    • Take note of the warning signs drawing attention to the constant danger in river beds and along watercourses below dams and reservoirs.
