The Gstaad holiday region is located in southwestern Switzerland directly on the border to the French-speaking part of the country. There are no parking spaces available on Berzgummstrasse. Please observe the driving ban.

• For route selection as well as assessment of your own experience, performance ability, and alpine dangers on routes ascending and descending in alpine terrain, everyone is responsible for themselves.
• Plan each snowshoe route carefully and adapt it to your own conditions as well as the weather and the season.
• The weather can change rapidly in the mountains. Therefore, bring suitable clothing and enough provisions and water. Turn back in good time if the weather is uncertain.
• Inform others about the route and, if possible, never go alone.
• Walking on ski slopes is prohibited.
• Be considerate of other hikers as well as plants and animals.
• Observe the warning signs that draw attention to the constant danger in the riverbed and on the banks of watercourses below dams and water catchments.
