The route is ideal for everyone who wants to take the hiking day leisurely – with lots of nature, beautiful views and time to enjoy being together on the way.
The start is on the lively promenade of Gstaad. From there, the path leads past the Gstaad Palace up to the quieter Oberbort, where beautiful views over the valley soon open up. In a particularly well-kept chalet area, Gstaad shows its elegant side: typical wooden buildings, lovingly designed surroundings and a lot of peace characterize this section.
Then it goes back to nature – over lush meadows, past grazing cows and accompanied by the sound of their bells. After crossing the Saane follows an idyllic section along the river through a shady woodland area that invites you to take a deep breath.
Part of the path runs along the Saanis sound experience before passing the Menuhin tent and finally returning to the promenade.
