Experience an unforgettable adventure together at Castle Mannenberg!
Along with real knights, you will embark on an exciting journey into the Middle Ages – with stories, music, and many surprises.
After a warm welcome by the castle captain, you will immerse yourself in a long-lost time full of secrets and experiences.
The path to the castle takes you on an idyllic trail through the forest – along the way, you will discover nature, mysterious glacier mills, and learn fascinating facts about the region's history.
Upon arrival at the top, the castle comes to life: The lords of the castle will show you how people lived in the past. You will experience the daily life of farmers and craftsmen up close – and you will get to be active yourself! Together, you will prepare a simple knight's meal and enjoy it together – just like in the Middle Ages.
An experience full of wonder, participation, and enjoyment – for young and old!

Hint / Advice
The tour will be conducted in dialect / German and is aimed at the whole family.
Equipment
Please wear weather appropriate clothing and proper footwear and bring your own drinks and any food you may need.
Arrival Information
Individual arrival at the parking lot below the castle. There is no direct public transport connection.
The parking lot can be reached on foot in about 30 minutes from Zweisimmen train station.
Level of difficulty
The tour is an experience-oriented walk with several stages.
Total duration is about 5 hours, with short hikes of 20 to 30 minutes on natural paths in between.
All participants must be able to manage this distance, including short inclines.
