Family Tour at Mannenberg Castle

You can expect an experience-oriented tour with several stages together with the knights of Mannenberg.
After being welcomed by the castle master, you will dive into the Middle Ages with music and stories.

During the joint ascent along the path through the forest, you will learn a lot about nature, the glacial mills, and history.

The lords of the castle demonstrate life in the village and the daily lives of farmers and craftsmen, and they will prepare the knight's meal together with you, served with water and tea.


Booking Note:
For this family program, at least one child and one adult must be booked together.
All participants need their own booking.

Duration: 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Arrival Information

Individual arrival to the parking Lauenensee, please travel by public bus. Walk approx. 10 minutes from the car park to the meeting point at the path crossing below the restaurant.

The Postbus leaves from the Trainsation in Gstaad at 1:37pm and arrives at the Lauenensee car park at 2.11 pm,

A Bus back to Gstaad leaves at 4.40 pm. and arives at 5:15pm.

Level of difficulty

The walking time is 1 hour (2.5 km). This distance must be manageable for all participants otherwise parents should use an aid (e.g. all-terrain pushchair, child carrier backpack, etc.).

Requirements

Registration until each Saturday at 3:00 PM.

Hint / Advice

 The tour is guided in germand, the guide may translate informaions in english.
